Hetauda, January 12 Province 3 Chief Minister Dor Mani Poudel today said that the industrial policy needed to be revised. Inaugurating the 17th Annual General Assembly of Udyog Sang in Hetauda, Makawanpur, today, Chief Minister Poudel said industries could not grow in the country due to lack of investment-friendly policy of the government. “Therefore, the industrial policy needs revision,” he added. CM Poudel said that industries were growing in Hetauda, but not as expected. He said there was no problem of workers and electricity in industrial areas. “But there is a problem in importing raw materials. That problem needs to be resolved at the earliest,” he said. CM Poudel said establishment of industries would help generate employment opportunities and added that the provincial government should be given the powers to manage the industrial sector. He said a polyclinic Institute would start running classes from January 29 in Hetauda. He believed that the polyclinic would help to produce manpower required for the industrial sector.
