KATHMANDU: A teenager died and two others sustained injuries after the motorcycle they were riding on crashed into a tree in Birtamod Municipality-9 of Jhapa district on Friday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Mangal Chaudhary (18) of Birtamod-10 and the injured as Bishal Das (18) and Nabin Katwal (20) of Birtamod-2. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mahendra Kumar Shrestha at the District Police Office (DPO), the motorcycle (Me 9 Pa 7741) heading towards Haldibari from Nariyabari ran out of control and crashed into a tree on the roadside killing Chaudhary and injuring two others, in Garamani area, at around 1:30 pm yesterday. Meanwhile, the injured are receiving treatment at local B&C Hospital. The investigation into the incident is underway said, the DSP.
