Lamjung, March 13 Operation of the Besisahar-Chame road, which was closed due to snowfall, has resumed after 13 days. The road connects Lamjung and Manang districts. The road from Danaque of Nashow Rural Municipality to the upper areas of Manang was halted owing to heavy snowfall since February 27. Transportation service was obstructed due to continuous snowfall from February 27 to 29. Armed Police Force DSP Nil Kamal Acharya said around eight kilometres road from Manang’s Disyang Rural Municipality to Bhartang Rural Municipality was blanketed in snow. He said transportation service resumed after the road section was cleared at Tirchungalda, Timang and Thanchowk. Chief District Officer Rudra Nath Devkota said telephone, mobile, electricity service, along with the road had been obstructed due to snowfall. He said normalcy had returned after all the services resumed.
