Pokhara, March 13 Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Kamal Thapa today said the 11-point agreement the government signed with CK Raut was enigmatic and controversial. Speaking at a press meet organised by Media Nepal in Pokhara, Thapa cast doubt that the agreement might have been inked under pressure of some forces.  He doubted that the agreement would be implemented. “Raut’s cadres shouted slogans supporting the country’s disintegration in Janakpur and armed guerillas participated in the demonstration. These give ample space to doubt that the agreement may not be executed,” Thapa stated. To validate the Free Mades Alliance is nothing but childlike demeanour, Thapa argued. Thapa said that it was wrong to ban the Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand. He stressed the need to bring Chand and his party into mainstream politics through dialogue. “Chand’s party too should carry out its activities abiding by the constitution,” he added. Thapa flayed political parties in both the government and opposition for violating the agreement reached with the palace. Monarchy was abolished even before the Constituent Assembly and Hindu state was scrapped without holding a referendum. Thapa accused KP Sharma Oli-led government of faiing to rein in inflation, corruption, and rising incidents of violence and murder. READ ALSO:
