BHOJPUR: Various organisations including locals in Bhojpur district have raised funds for the windstorm-hit families of Bara and Parsa districts, on Thursday. According to Bhojpur Civil Society Coordinator Parshuram Tiwari, the funds were collected in coordination with the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Federation of Non-profit Organisations and Civil Society in the district. A total of Rs 56,371 was raised during the campaign. 'The amount has been deposited in the account of Province 2 Chief Minister Relief Fund,' said the Chairperson of Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bhojpur Chapter, Shyam Krishna Dahal. Earlier, the devastating windstorm killed 28 people and injured hundreds in Bara and Parsa districts.
