The price of gold in the domestic market continued its upward trajectory, rising by Rs 800 per tola on Friday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is now being traded at Rs 154,100 per tola, up from Rs 153,300 per tola on Thursday.
Gold prices have been climbing steadily over the past few days, with an increase of Rs 500 per tola on Wednesday followed by Rs 800 per tola on Thursday.
Similarly, the price of silver also rose by Rs 5 per tola on Friday. Silver is now being traded at Rs 1,845 per tola, compared to Rs 1,840 per tola on Thursday.
