Far-west province aims to eliminate disparity

Dhangadi: Far-west Province government presented its policies and programmes for the fiscal 2019-20 at the Provincial Assembly on Sunday. Presenting the policies and programmes, Province Governor Mohanraj Malla said the government will increase capital expenditure and focus on building socialism-oriented-economy in the next fiscal. The policies include Youth Self-employment programme to improve the province’s economy. The government has set the target of launching various programmes to eliminate social inequality and disparity. As per the policy, Mahakali Zonal Hospital and Seti Zonal Hospital will be upgraded into Province Hospitals. Similarly, the government aims to make the province literate within three years. Special programmes will be launched to discourage and remove violence against women, chhaupadi, and other social perversions, as per government policy.
