One held with 'pen gun' in Pokhara

POKHARA: Police have seized a 'pen gun' from a drug abuser and made it public at District Police Office (DPO), Kaski, in Pokhara, on Wednesday. Acting on a tip-off, a sleuth deployed from the DPO apprehended Sagar Ranabhat, 24, from Masbar in Pokhara-7 with controlled pharmaceutical drugs and a pen gun, on Sunday. Police raided his house at Kaskikot in Pokhara-24 and seized large ampoules of various drugs -- Phenergan (60), Brufin (60), Nitrosun (15) -- the pen gun and seven rounds of bullets, according to DPO Chief, Superintendent of Police (SP) Dan Bahadur Karki. Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
