KATHMANDU, MAY 15
Prof Dr Rishikesh Wagle has been appointed Vice Chancellor of Kathmandu University to oversee its day-to-day operations.
The appointment was made by Chancellor and Prime Minister Balendra Shah on May 13, following a vacancy created after the previous vice chancellor resigned.
Prof Dr Wagle, former Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Law at KU, assumed office on Thursday.
University officials said the appointment was made to ensure continuity in academic and administrative functions at the institution.
