7yo boy injured in Tanahun leopard attack

DAMAULI: A boy was injured after being attacked by a leopard in Bhanu Municipality-2 of Tanahun district on Sunday evening. Hemraj Sunar, the seven-year-old son of local Nir Bahadur Sunar, was attacked by the leopard while he was going to the toilet near their house at Thulo Bagaicha, informed Spokesperson at Tanahun District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Lilaraj Lamichhane. Hemraj, who sustained injuries in his head and various parts of his bodies, was rushed to Dumre-based Lakshmi Hospital for treatment. He was later referred to New Medical College, Bharatpur after preliminary treatment there. Meanwhile, security personnel are searching for the leopard. As many as four children have died and more than six children have been injured in leopard attack in Bhanu Municipality alone.
