HETAUDA: Two persons were killed after the motorcycle they were riding on collided with a truck in Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-3 of Makwanpur district on Wednesday evening. The deceased have been identified as local residents Saurabh Subedi (30) and Asmit Sunar (19). According to Makawanpur District Police Office, the truck (Na 6 Kha 1500) heading towards Hetauda from Chitwan collided with the motorcycle (Na 38 Pa 5332) heading towards Basamadi from Hetauda, killing Subedi on the spot and critically injuring Sunar. Sunar was rushed to the Chure Hill Hospital in Hetauda and later referred to a hospital in Chitwan where he breathed his last during the course of treatment, police informed. Meanwhile, police have impounded the truck and detained its driver for further investigation into the incident, Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Yagya Prasad Bhattarai at the DPO informed.
