Bhojpur, August 18 Police made three murder accused public for their alleged involvement in two murder cases in Bhojpur District Police Office today. Police said the trio was accused of involvement in the murder of Bhai Maya Rai, 48, of Kopilasgadi Rural Municipality, Khotang and Purna Bahadur Suyal, 32, of Bhojpur Municipality. Police said the accused persons Ramesh Karki, Bhim Bahadur Karki and Mohan Bahadur Sharki were made public at a press meet organised in Bhojpur District Police Office today. Bhai Maya, who had gone missing since July 24 from her house, was found dead at Dhodre Khola of Tyamkemayum Rural Municipality on July 28 during the search operation. DSP Nar Bahadur Salami Magar, during the investigation, said locals Ramesh and Bhim Bahadur were arrested after they were seen walking in the suspicious way at the incident site. The DSP said the duo explained to the police during the investigation that Bhai Maya was injured after they hit her with khukuri, and they murdered her by strangling her and looted Rs 15,055 along with the ornaments. Similarly, police today made Mohan Bahadur Sharki public accusing him of killing Purna Bahadur Suyal, 32, of Bhojpur Municipality in 2017. Suyal had gone missing since February 9, 2018 and was found dead at Champira Khola on February 12. DSP Salami Magar said Sharki, who was involved in the case, had been absconding. Police said Sharki killed Suyal after pushing him from the cliff due to domestic dispute. DSP Salami Magar said the accused had been presented in the court and are now kept in the custody.
