Two held with 7.5 kg hashish in Dhading

DHADING: Police arrested two persons in possession of 7.5-kilogram hashish at Malekhu in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-3 of Dhading district, on Friday. According to the District Police Office, Dhading, two alleged drug pedallers--Krishna KC, 22, of Syanja district, currently residing in Baglung Buspark in Pokhara Metropolis-14 and Sangeeta Pariyar, 26, of Rukum, residing in Taalchowk in Pokhara, were apprehended with illegal drug this morning. A joint patrol team deployed from Malekhu Police Post and Area Police Office, Gajuri, intercepted a scooter (Ga 10 Pa 4494) and seized illegal drugs hidden inside two zebra bags. Subsequently, police apprehended two alleged drug peddlers. Police also seized their SIM cards, mobile phones, a scooter used in the crime, for further investigation, police added.
