KATHMANDU: Dr Govinda KC, who has been staging his 17th hunger-strike demanding reforms in medical sector, decided to halt his strike in solidarity with government efforts on the borderland encroachment issues, on Tuesday. Various organisations and students have been staging demonstrations and protests in Kathmandu after India published a new political map incorporating Nepal's territory. Crusader KC staged his 17th hunger strike in Dadeldhura of the Far-West Province on November 4 after the government failed to address his demands for medical reforms.
