KATHMANDU: Harshit KC of Modern Indian School and Pratyasha Thapa of Triyog won gold medals in the MIS Cup here on Monday. KC edged past fellow MIS player Prasanna Dahal 3-2 in boys’ section final of the table tennis tournament for up to Class 8, while Thapa defeated Kripa Maharjan of Swarnim 3-0 in girls’ final. Likewise, Abha Pant and Deepsan Basnet bagged gold medals in the event up to Class 12. In football, GEMS defeated Triyog 7-0 riding on a hat-trick from Raj Agrahari, while Little Angels’ beat Budhanilkantha 3-1 in tie-breaker after a 2-2 draw. In basketball, Chandbagh beat Little Angels’ 27-24, and KMC defeated Budhanilkantha 22-15.
