Bhairahawa, December 4 Agitating students at Universal Medical College, Bhairahawa, boycotted their exam today to protest the college’s action of ‘fleecing’ them. Saying that the college was dilly-dallying in returning the fees collected ‘illegally’, they formed a human chain and boycotted the BDS exam today. All 40 students of BDS first year boycotted exam. After their college refused to return the extra fees collected from them, the students, who had been agitating for the past 34 days, resorted to relay hunger strike. Today is the 20th day of the strike. The students have threatened to boycott the MBBS first year exam tomorrow too if the college doesn’t agree to return the extra fees charged from them.
