Not reel, real Bollywood friendship

MUMBAI:

In an industry where there are only working relationships, Kareena Kapoor’s friendship with Amrita Arora has outlasted all constraints of time, jealousy and backbiting.

“I really like that girl. She’s fun, easygoing, hassle free and honest... just like me. Our friendship cannot be measured against other filmy friendships. I make friends for life. For example, my best friend has been with me from school. Amu (Amrita) too will remain with me,” Kareena said.

To prove Kareena right, Amrita is flying down to London. The two pals intend to have a ball for five days shopping, going to fun places and generally doing the things they cannot do in Mumbai.

“It is very simple. You have to do what you have to do if you want a friendship to last,” said Amrita. “Bebo (Kareena) is busy, and so am I. Besides our careers, we have our boyfriends to spend time with. I had this opportunity to open a restaurant in Birmingham. When I heard Bebo was arriving in London, I decided to stay back. We’ll have ourselves a ball.”
