RAJBIRAJ, JANUARY 9 Nepali Congress, Saptari, staged protest rallies against the dissolution of the House of Representatives in all eight constituencies of Provincial Assembly in Saptari today. Cadres and leaders of Nepali Congress and its sister organisations took to the streets and at various places. Addressing a protest rally, Nepali Congress Saptari President Dinesh Kumar Yadav asked all and sundry to unite against the dissolution of the House of Representatives and defend the constitution. Yadav termed the dissolution of the House unconstitutional and undemocratic. Yadav warned that street agitation would rectify the unconstitutional move. Protesters had shouted slogans against Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and demanded reinstatement of the HoR. Protest rallies were held at Mahuli, Bairawa, Rajbiraj, Khurhuriya, Patthargadha and Sisuwa, among others places. The rallies got huge support from the people, said NC Saptari Spokesperson Prabhat Kumar Lalan.
