KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali today left for India for a three-day official visit. Minister Gyawali is scheduled to attend the Nepal-India Joint Commission meeting while in India. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) had earlier notified that Minister Gyawali will visit New Delhi from 14 to 16 January for the sixth Meeting of Nepal-India Joint Commission. “The Joint Commission Meeting will discuss the whole gamut of Nepal-India bilateral relations, including trade, transit, energy, boundary, COVID-19 cooperation, infrastructure, connectivity, investment, agriculture, tourism, culture, among others.' Likewise, he is slated to meet his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar at 11:00 am on Friday in New Delhi. Gyawali is visiting at the invitation of Jaishankar. It has been learnt that while in the Indian capital Gyawali will also meet high-level Indian dignitaries. Similarly, the Nepali delegation consists of Ambassador of Nepal to India, Foreign secretary, Health secretary, and other senior officials of the Government of Nepal.
