Kathmandu: Homage and tribute was paid for eternal peace of the departed soul of late Prime Minister of Japan Ryutaro Hashimoto amidst a condolence meeting and deep regret was expressed for his untimely death.

Late Hashimoto was a good friend, well-wisher and devoted to development of Nepal. He has left unforgettable memories to Nepal and its people by conducting various development programmes in various sectors such as education, health, sports, tourism and children’s health on behalf of his government and on his own. Respect and condolence was paid to him as Nepal had lost an intimate friend who was also the Chairman of the Nepal- Japan-Diplomatic Relation Golden Jubilee Council in connection with organising various programmes throughout the year.
