Kathmandu, July 23 :

The Minister of State for Women, Children and Social Welfare (MoWCSW), Urmila Aryal, today said the budget allocated to the ministry to execute its plans and policies is inadequate.

“Separate budget should have been allocated for women, children and the disabled people in each Village Development Committee to address their issues,” Aryal said.

She was speaking at a programme, ‘Identity of Orphan and Street Children,’ organised by the National Alliance of Children’s Organisation, Child Environment Centre and Sancharika Samuha.
