Surrender weapons to resume talks: Gachhedhar

Minister for Water Resources Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar has stressed the need for all the Nepali people to unite against the Maoist terrorists as they are involved in killing the common people and destroying the development infrastructures of the country.
Inaugurating the new building of Chapakhwal Youth Club at Ward No 3 of Changunarayan village development committee, Minister Gachhadar said that the security forces are actively involved in safeguarding democracy, constitutional monarchy and national integrity and maintaining law and order for the people.
Gachhadar expressed confidence that the Maoist terrorist will be wiped out very soon in the country through the operations of the security forces.
Talks with the Maoist terrorists will be possible only if the terrorists end their violent activities and surrender their weapons, the Minister said, adding that all the people should unite and extend cooperation to development works to be carried out by the government in accordance with the wishes of the people.
Vice chairman of Bhaktapur District Development Committee Ramesh Shrestha said that everyone should be involved in local development works in a disciplined manner.
The new building of the club was constructed at a cost of Rs 89,000, according chairman of the building construction committee Dadiram Poudel.
