KATHMANDU:

Police have arrested three persons with 126 kg of hashish. The Narcotic Drug Control Law Enforcement Unit of Nepal Police arrested the trie at Jhyaple Khola of Badbhanjyang VDC-5 in Kathmandu on Sunday evening following a tip-off. Those arrested are Janak Tamang, 24, of Kiranchowk VDC-4 Dhading, Bir Bahadur Tamang, 29, of Baireni VDC-9 Dhading and Suman Tamang, 35, of Kiranchowk Bange of Dhading. They were trying to smuggle six sack full of hashish in the tripper carrying rice.
