Kathmandu, November 27:

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and Yamaha India Motors (P) Ltd joined hands to award six best individuals of the Martyrs’ Memorial San Miguel ‘A’ Division League.

ANFA president Ganesh Thapa and Chief Executive of Yamaha India Motors Vishnu Agrawal signed the Memorandum of Understanding for six Yamaha G5 motorcycles — one each to best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, forward, highest scorer and a coach.

As per the MoU, both the parties will bear the 50 per cent of the total cost of Rs 750,000 for the seven motorcycles including the one to be awarded to the Rupak Memorial Best Player.

Agrawal also announced a motorcycle to a football fan. “We will run the predict and win scheme and whoever makes the right guess of the six winners will be awarded with a Yamaha G5 motorcycle,” he said. “In case of tie, we will have a lucky draw for the award and if none of the fans could guess six right winners, we will award the person with most number of right predicts,” he added.
