Sanima Bank completes two-year

Kathmandu, December 5:
Sanima Bikash Bittiya Sanstha Ltd, a national development bank, promoted by non-resident Nepalis, has completed its two years of operation from today.
The bank has registered an operating profit of Rs 18.3 million in the fiscal year 2005-06, states a press release issued here today by the bank.
It has also registered a net profit of Rs 8.65 million. The deposit and loan portfolio stands at Rs 750 million and Rs 760 million at the end of the fiscal year 2005-06, which is an increase by Rs 360 million and Rs 320 million respectively.
The bank claims that the deposit and loan portfolio — at the first quarter of the current fiscal year 2006-07 — has increased to Rs 1.11 and Rs 1.08 billion.
Sanima has been providing services to the customers in the areas of foreign currency transactions (except letter of credit — LoC), evening counter facility, non-funded facilities and safe deposit locker facility since the last fiscal year.
