KATHMANDU: The Ratna Shield Inter-college Quiz Contest began on November 26, and a total of 25 teams from 18 colleges had participated in it. The Godavari Alumni Association (GAA) has been organising this contest since 1967.

The preliminary rounds were held from November 26 to December 1, and 16 teams made it to the quarter finals, which were held on December 3 and 4.

The teams that qualified for the semi-finals are Patan Multiple Campus, Budhanilkantha ‘A’, White House ‘A’, Little Angels’ ‘B’, Campion Academy ‘A’, Bhanubhakta ‘A’, Little Angels’ ‘A’ and St Xavier’s College.

The semi-finals will take place on December 6. The teams securing the first and second positions in the two semi-finals will qualify for the finals, to be held on December 9 at GAA hall.
