Sixth AJS Volleyball Tournament
LALITPUR: Hosts Anal Jyoti School (AJS) defeated Gyanodaya Bal Batika 25-14, 25-14 in the inaugural match of the sixth AJS Running Volleyball Cup on Tuesday. In the other boys’ section match, SEB School Gyan Kunja 25-11, 18-25, 25-11. In mini boys’ section, AJS ‘A’ beat GEMS 25-10, 25-21 and Deep Jyoti defeated Bhim Secondary School 20-25, 25-17, 25-22. — HNS
Unique Junior Basketball
KATHMANDU: Both the teams of hosts Unique School, Shridiwa and Valley Public registered wins at the second Unique Inter-school Junior Basketball Tournament. In the day’s matches, Unique defeated Advanced School 15-3, Shridiwa outplayed Constellation 27-10, Valley Public registered a 23-11 win over Young Hearts and the second team of Unique beat Lyceum Model School 30-20. — HNS
Rana back in Football Committee
LALITPUR: A meeting of Jawalakhel Youth Club on Tuesday formed a five-member football committee under Sunil SJB Rana, who is also the central committee member of ANFA and president of Lalitpur District FA. Mahendra Chhetry, Kamal Singh, Kuber Thapa and Madhav Thapa are the other members of the committee. — HNS
Under-13 Football Camp
LALITPUR: Buddhi Bikash Mandal (BBM) is organisig the regular and winter football camps for Under-13 students. As per the BBM programme, the regular camp will be held every day except Saturdays, while the one-month Winter Camp is scheduled from December 30, said the BBM in a release on Tuesday. — HNS
