Liverpool Hope University is one of the newest universities in the UK, but its history stretches back over a century and a half. The Privy Council approved the title Liverpool Hope University in July 2005.
Subjects and courses
Liverpool Hope University offers a wide range of subject choices and subject combinations, leading to single or combined Honours Degree Awards. All of the undergraduate programmes are modular. There are over 450 different combinations.
Accommodation
Liverpool Hope University has a range of residential accommodation types at prices to suit most budgets.
All the Halls on offer to students are owned and managed by Liverpool Hope University or a landlord partner with whom the university have an agreement. The Hope Park accommodation is on the campus where most of the teaching and support facilities can be found. A shuttle bus is available for residents in off-campus accommodation, so you will have no problems commuting to and from Hope Park.
Bursaries and scholarships
Liverpool Hope has introduced a package of bursaries and scholarships to help support and attract the best students. Bursaries are available to home (UK) and EU students starting a full time undergraduate or PGCE course in September 2006, where the fee for the course is £3,000. Bursaries are cash awards which do not have to be paid back. How much you receive will depend on your household income. Liverpool Hope will pay up to £800,000 in new scholarship awards each year to new home (UK) students studying on a full time undergraduate course from 2006/07, where the fee for the course is £3,000.
