Just a special make up and hairdo is simply not enough to look gorgeous on your wedding day. You need to look after your skin and hair regularly much more in advance. Sindhu Karmacharya of Faces gives you some tips on how to dazzle on your big day. She advises all to opt for a subtle make-up focusing more on the eyes, and no elaborate or stiff hairdos.

Preparation

• Wash your face with face wash daily.

• Make cleansing a part of your daily routine.

• Use mud mask regularly.

• Go for facials at least once a week.

• Soak your hands and legs in warm water with peroxide. It helps remove the dead cells.

• Rub lemon to remove the stains on your nails.

• Go for manicure and pedicure.

• Use a conditioner every time you shampoo.

Removing makeup

• Use a good eye makeup remover.

• Johnson baby oil or Vaseline petroleum jelly can also be used to remove makeup.

• Wet tissues can also be used to remove makeup.

Undoing the hairdo

To undo the hairdo done with back comb, comb your hair after applying a conditioner (when it is wet) in your hair. Use a wide teeth comb. Doing this prevents breakage and split ends.
