Bara, March 18:

The Bara District Administration Office (DAO) today imposed a daytime curfew in Kalaiya, the Bara district headquarters, to avoid any untoward incident here.

Bara Chief District Officer Bhola Prasad Siwakoti issued a notice ordering a curfew in Kalaiya and its vicinity from 12:30 afternoon to 7: 30 pm today.

Meanwhile, the Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum cadres today defied curfew order and organised a demonstration. According to MJF Bara secretary, Pramod Gupta, the demonstration started from old bus park and went around the city.
