Rajbiraj, March 24:
The Nepal Madhesi Students’ Front (NMSF) today announced that it was no longer linked to the MJF. In a release signed by NMSF chief Keshav Kumar Jha and general secretary Ajit Kumarlal Karna after its central panel meet held on March 22 -23, it accused the MJF of exhibiting non-political characteristics. “The MJF is working with undesired persons and organisations.”
Stating that MJF was unable to play an active role in favour of Madhesi politics, it said: “NMSF has announced to end affiliation to the MJF and this decision will be approved by a NMSF meet to be held in Janakpur in May.”
Though the government provided “a golden chance” to the MJF to settle the Tarai issues through talks, it neglected the offer “at the directives of the palace.”
