Roller coaster over water

By Agencies

The world’s first roller coaster completely over water has been unveiled! Called Infusion, it has five loops and rolls, 670m of track, cost £8 million and has a top speed of more than 50mph. The 36.5m-high new ride is made up of two trains, each holding 16 people who will have 150 seconds of thrills! It was launched in London but its home will be Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach, where the oldest rollercoaster — the Big Dipper — opened in 1921. Riders have to be 132cm for safety reasons. There are almost 900 roller coasters in the world.
