The Bhutanese Refugee Durable Coordination Committee (BRDCC) on Tuesday said the “genuine resettlement offer” of some third countries, including the US, has been misinterpreted to create conflict among the Bhutanese refugee community. The BRDCC, in a statement on Tuesday, accused Bhutanese leaders Tek Nath Rizal and Balaram Poudel of “keeping the refugees hostage for their interests.”
