Rajbiraj, July 17:
Janatantrik Terai Mukti Morcha-Jwala Singh (JTMM-J) today warned the government that it was ready to resist if it deployed security forces in the name of controlling violence in Tarai.
Madhesi people and Terai Mukti Sena were ready to resist at a time when the government was trying to kill Terai people who are fighting for their freedom, a statement issued yesterday by JTMM-J chairperson Jwala Singh said. The statement has urged the Tarai-based administrators and the government officials of Pahadi community to leave within a week or face action. It accused the seven political parties and the Maoists of trying to give continuity to monarchy and using the monarchy to suppress the Tarai people.
