SIRAHA:

A group of people, saying that a motorbike plied defying the JTMM-J-called bandh, torched it and set fire to the motorcyclist, Indian businessman Ishwor Dev Yadav, at Gulariyachowk of Siraha-9 on Monday night, locals said. Injured Yadav is undergoing treatment in the Siraha District Hospital, the Siraha district police office said.

The National Terrorist Encounter Committee (NTEC) owned up the incident. NTEC chairperson Krodhi said Yadav was punished on the charge of abducting businessman Mahesh Poddhar.
