Woman kills self

KATHMANDU: Lalita Subba, 28, a resident of Dhapakhel-8, of Lalitpur district, committed suicide early on Monday at her house by hanging herself, police said, adding that investigation into the incident is on. In another incident, a youth Nabin Rai, 21, of Kathmandu Metropolitan City - 15, was stabbed by four persons, including Umesh Gauchan, on Sunday night, police said. Rai, who hails from Khotang district, is undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital and his condition is said to be critical. — HNS
