KATHMANDU:

Deputy Inspector General of the Armed Police Force (APF) returned on Sunday after participating in the 756th general convention of International Police Organisation (Interpol) that took place at Maracas of Morocco from November 5 to 8. The APF participated in the Interpol general convention for the first time this year. A three-member team led by Nepal Police’s IG Om Bikram Rana also participated in the convention. According to a release issued by the APF headquarters, the convention discussed cooperation among the Interpol member countries to combat terrorism, narcotic drugs, counterfeit currency, cyber crimes, trafficking and effective police communication system.
