Nepal COVID-19 Update: 99 new cases, 248 recoveries, zero fatalities recorded on Saturday

Nepal's Health Ministry shared the latest updates on coronavirus contagion from across the country.

Till date, 2,091,166 tests through Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method have been carried out wherein 2,794 tests were performed in the last 24 hours.
At present, there are 95 people under quarantine in various facilities across the country. The number of active cases in Nepal is 1,959.
On Saturday, 99 new cases of the COVID-19 infection have been confirmed across the country taking the national tally to 271,806.
As many as 248 persons earlier diagnosed with the disease have tested negative in the last 24 hours. With the recent addition, the national COVID-19 recovery tally has now reached 267,812.
Meanwhile, no fatality was reported by the Ministry today. The country's COVID-19 death tally stands at 2,035.
As of today, the country has witnessed 271,806 cases of the coronavirus infection while 267,812 people have recovered from the disease. Meanwhile, 2,035 COVID-19 fatalities have been confirmed.
