Effervescent Mahima Bhattarai, with her charming personality has been entertaining her audience as a Radio and TV presenter. And though she has a hectic work schedule, she does take time out to be with her friends on weekends.
For me even Saturday is a working day but not a very hectic one as such. I enjoy my work both in TV and radio, so most of the time I don’t feel like I’m working as I live what I do.
Usually I go to church in the morning and meet my friends in the afternoon or evening. It is on Friday evenings that I enjoy and have a good time with my friends.
If possible, then on Sundays we plan short trips to places that are easily accessible. The place that we mostly visit is Nagarkot, but if I have some time I go to places like Pokhara for a few days. However, it been quite sometime since I went for these trips as I’m quite busy these days. And if I plan long trips, I do go with some work along with having fun there.
I really cannot pin point any particular weekend as ‘my most memorable’ as all of them are special. When I am with my friends it’s always fun and I have a great time. However, one New Year’s around 16 or 17 of us had gone to Pokhara — strolling around enjoying the street fest and celebrating New Year’s Eve in Pokhara was very memorable.
For my ideal weekend, I would love to go to some faraway farmland and stay there in some isolated place or maybe stay in a cottage in a jungle. I would like to just be there all alone or with my friends too.
