Model-turned-actor Vinay Shrestha will make his silver screen debut with Sano Sansaar, and for him weekend is all about hanging out with friends

My weekend starts with a nice dinner with friends. I am a big time foodie and I enjoy trying out new cuisines. I have a few favourite places in town — for Indian I prefer going to Dhaba, Thapathali. I really liked Imago Dei Café I visited recently.

After dinner I go for som-ething I like to call ‘Club Marathon’. My friends and I visit different clubs and enjoy dancing: J Bar, Cube Bar and Galaxy are some of the places I often visit.

Saturday is the day to laze around. I go to the movies if there is something nice on at the theatres. If I feel like it, I go for long drives to the outskirts of the Valley. The fresh and tranquil ambience of such places helps rejuvenate my mind.

Although most of my weekends are spent with friends, once I went to Kurintar with my sister, nephew and niece. That was one of the most memorable holidays. It was so nice to spend fun time with the family for a change.

If given a choice I don’t think I’d like to spend my weekends any other way. I love the way I spend my weekends. — As told to Krita Raut
