Heather Mills, the ex-wife of Sir Paul McCartney, made a threatening throat-slashing gesture at the singer’s divorce lawyer Fiona Shackelton.

The 40-year-old glared at Shackelton across the court and made the gesture immediately after the ruling said that Mills was to get just a fifth of what she actually wanted, thesun.co.uk reports. McCartney told friends he was shocked by Mills’ actions. “McCartney thought Mills had gone completely off her rocker. He was shocked because it was so completely out of order and just not the way to conduct yourself in the court,” said a source.

Mills also poured a jug of water over Shackelton’s head.

“Heather obviously blames Fiona for the payout and the way her image has been ruined,” added the source. Mills’ people say that she was upset with Shackelton’s suggestions that she used a wheelchair to gain sympathy.
