Bhaktapur, March 26:

Himalayan White House International College advanced to the final of the Wai Wai fifth KCC Running Shield Nationwide Inter-college Cricket Tournament here today.

White House was awarded the semi-final match after Shanti Academy of Chitwan walked out of the game midway through their inning while chasing 204 runs. Shanti Academy were reeling at 136-7 from 25.3 overs at the point.

The Shanti Academy players accused the umpires for being biased against them. They blamed the umpires to have given few of their players wrongfully out.

Earlier, Sujin Adhikari scored 22-ball 39 and Prem Chaudhary made 37 from 46 balls as White House scored 203-6 from 30 overs. Yaswant Subedi also chiped in 27. Sagar Adhikari and Kumar Thapa took two wickets each for Shanti Academy while Shiva Gaire bagged one.

In reply, Ramesh Thapa scored run-a-ball 39 and Bijay Barakoti 13 from 19 delivereis before Shanti Academy walked out of the match. Ksitiz Singh and Sujin Adhikari claimed two wickets apiece for White House.

White House will take on Classic College International in final on Thursday.
