If you’re bored of cycling to school every day on your old set of wheels, how about taking a spin on a bike that’s shaped like a giant guitar? The 14m-long creation is the latest invention of Didi Senft from Germany, who’s hoping it will earn him a place in the record books.
“I think it’s the biggest mobile guitar in the universe,” he said. But at 4.2m-high, the bike can only be used in open fields as it won’t fit under bridges on normal roads!
Didi used more than 300m of aluminium piping and more than 40 square metres of wavy aluminium to build the giant bike. It took him about six months to build the bike, but it’s not his first crazy creation. In the past Didi’s also made a giant fish-shaped bike entirely from bicycle bells, and an enormous wheel from footballs for the 2006 World Cup.
