SCHOOL TIMES : Conquering our greatest enemy

SCHOOL TIMES : Conquering our greatest enemy

By Rishi Singh

Our biggest enemy is not our classmate nor our ex-best friend. Our biggest is our ego.

If you think you don’t have an ego problem, than think again! When was the last time you said sorry to your friend before s/he said it? When was the last time you admitted your mistake in front of your family? It is ego that is stopping you from doing all the right things that you should do.

It is ego that is stopping you form solving the problems and misunderstandings you have with others. Yes, I know it is not easy to admit your fault but that will make you true, loyal and down to earth. And the one who is angry or has misunderstood you will forgive you for your mistakes. And if it is his/her fault but they are not admitting it, you should just talk to them without letting your biggest enemy hamper your relation. They will certainly feel bad about the wrong s/he had done to you.

Keep aside your ego and talk to the one whom you were not talking to yesterday and it will help you have a healthy relation with everyone. You can get rid of your biggest

enemy. So stretch out your hand for friendship and you will never regret it.

And if you find a best friend in someone whom you were not talking with yesterday, you will thank me for writing this.
