More blasts in capital

KATHMANDU: Ranabir Sena effected three explosions in Kathmandu on Wednesday. Two small bombs exploded at 8.00 pm some 200 metres near International Convention Centre in New Baneshwor, while another explosive went off at Tundikhel, police said. While there was no report of human casualty in the New Baneshwor blast, Sabitri Khatri was injured in the blast at Tundikhel. She returned home after first aid, police said. — HNS

75-yr-old shot dead

SIRAHA: An unidentified gang shot dead 75 -year-old Sita Gaderi in her Bandipur Tole house in Badaharamal on Wednesday, police said. According to Sufali Gaderi, the victim’s daughter, Sita died on the way to hospital. No group has owned up the murder. — HNS

Boy falls to death

TANAHUN: A 14-year-old boy died after falling off a cliff near his house in Barbhanjyang VDC-3 on Wednesday. Critically hurt Santosh Khatri breathed his last while undergoing treatment in Damauli hospital, said police. —HNS
