Kathmandu, June 2:

Four people were arrested yesterday on the charge of killing twenty-five-year-old Raju Magar of Makwanpur district. Magar was living in KMC Ward No 6, Nayabasti.

Sub-inspector at the Metropolitan Police Circle Bouddha, Balram Jha, identified the arrested

as Jhilke Tamang, 19,

Raju Tamang, 21, Sanu Kanchha Tamang, 30, and Prem Pakhrin, 21. All four hail from Makwanpur district and were living in Nayabasti.

According to Jha, another suspect, Arun Tamang, has been absconding.

The five, who were in an inebriated condition, stabbed Magar to death yesterday following

a brawl in Nayabasti,

Jha said.

Police said they have recovered a knife from the site where Magar was stabbed to death.
