POKHARA: The forest ministry has prohibited the ongoing construction of a foot track around the Fewa Lake.
The move came in the view of possibility of destruction of the Rabiban Forest on the bank of the lake and the chance of the lake being disfigured. The western regional forest office Pokhara handed over the letter, which it received from the ministry, to the Pokhara town development committee (PTDC) on Monday to stop constructing the track.
