Kathmandu, October 23:

The meeting between the one-man panel formed by the government to resolve the problems of street vendors and the agitating vendors today decided to form a task force tomorrow to fix places where the displaced street vendors could temporarily set up their shops.

According to Shiva Kattel, president of the Federation of National Industries and Commerce (FNIC), tomorrow’s meeting would form a task force and fix temporary places for the Informal

Sector Service Providers evicted from the footpaths of Kalanki, Ratna Park, Sundhara, New Baneswor and Koteswor until a permanent solution was found.

Kattel also said the task force will set an office at the City Hall for its day-to-day work.
