Kathmandu, December 23:
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ today said efforts were underway to incorporate some ‘big’ communist forces with the CPN-Maoist in a couple of months, in a bid to form what he called a single communist party.
“This polarisation will create a debate in the CPN-UML, necessitating formation of a single communist party,” he said. “The revolutionaries will come to a single fold while reactionaries within the communist forces will take a side.”
Welcoming Kunta Sharma, former UML member of parliament, who joined the CPN-Maoist today, the Maoist supremo said, “There is a need of polarisation between the revolutionary communists and reactionary forces.” He further said that their revolution was gaining a new height. The PM, along with the party veteran Mohan Baidhya ‘Kiran’, welcomed four other new comers, Binda Mainali Upreti, Amar Tyagi, Kanchan Karki and Junu Kshetri, all from the CPN-UML.
