Kathmandu, April 2:

Journalist and president of Nepal Madhes Foundation today said journalists in Mithila region had been facing threats from several armed groups for writing news against them.

NMF president Tula Narayan Sah claimed that journalists in the region were being neglected by the mainstream media.

Addressing an interaction at Martin Chautari, Sah pointed out some major problems faced by the journalists in the region.

He said, “Journalists in Mithila are facing problems because of lack of knowledge and skills,” adding “Young journalists of Mithila need training.”
